Candidates are expected to have a Masters of Science Degree in Architecture and a minimum of a Second class Lower degree in a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (BSc Architecture or B.Tech Architecture) before applying for to enrol in a Doctoral Degree in the Department. Successful candidates during the application stage are required to undergo an interview with the PhD supervisory committee in the Department. During this exercise, all candidates are required to submit and present a PhD research proposal to the committee which forms the basis of the interaction. Candidates are selected based on merit.
